According to Wikipedia, the term ‘ring bearer’ is defined as the ‘attendant at a wedding who carries the ring(s)’. By this definition, the ring bearer could be any person (for example, sometimes the best man performs double duty and carries the rings as well) or even something else (a pet, a remote control airplane, who knows…?).

However, I think most of us think of a cute little boy accompanying the flower girl when we picture a ring bearer.

The sun pokes out for a few minutes and we begin to feel like Spring is just around the corner. Spring is a wonderful time for weddings because it is the symbol of new beginnings.

Here’s a great way to stick to a tight wedding budget, these butterflies act as both place card holders and wedding favors. Branches or live trees that are budding are great symbols of Spring, and beautiful decorations too. If not, perhaps they can send you the image so that you can do it yourself.
